Toyota Land Cruiser 300 — Black

The 300-series is the Land Cruiser that stopped being agricultural. Same idea underneath — body-on-frame, full-time four-wheel drive, built to be fixed anywhere — but quieter and far longer-legged than the 200 it replaced, which is what you actually feel on the E11 to Abu Dhabi or the run out to Hatta.

This one is black over a beige cabin on the silver six-spoke alloys, with the twin-screen dashboard and a sunroof. It is the five-seat layout, which is the version worth having: the floor behind the rear bench is flat and completely clear, with no third row folded into it eating the depth.

It is a standard car, unmodified, which for a Land Cruiser is rather the point.
