The W12 is Bentley's own engine — twelve cylinders in a package barely longer than a V8 — and in the Flying Spur it makes 626 hp and 900 Nm. That is 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and a genuine 333 km/h, from a car that also has rear-axle steering and a self-levelling air suspension.

The party trick is the rotating display: three faces that turn between a touchscreen, three analogue dials, and plain veneer if you would rather have no screen at all. Beige leather with blue contrast, and the Flying B mascot rises from the bonnet on start-up.
